Work with me and I’ll be your one point of contact. You’ll have someone on your side who genuinely cares about you and your trip (and who’ll get excited with you), as well as the backup of having someone there to provide help when needed.

As an Independent Travel Consultant, I partner with trusted suppliers to design trips tailored to your needs - whether that means iconic big-brand experiences or hidden gems you’ll fall in love with.
While I can book any type of travel, my specialty lies in the journeys that can feel overwhelming to plan on your own: bespoke itineraries, bucket-list adventures, luxury escapes where every detail is taken care of, and group trips that can otherwise be a headache.
Travel is my passion, particularly experiences that highlight history, archaeology, and culture - reflecting my own background - as well as wildlife-positive adventures. Responsible travel is at the heart of what I do, and I have a special interest in expedition cruising, having explored the Galapagos and Svalbard (with more destinations to come!).
I cover destinations across the globe and collaborate with destination specialists whenever possible. My personal areas of expertise include the Islands of Tahiti, where I am recognised as a specialist by Tahiti Tourism, Chicago, a city I know inside out from countless visits and even a dissertation on its architecture, and Sweden, being half Swedish myself!
Nickson Travel customers fall into three broad categories:
- Those that have a vague idea of what they want but need some guidance.
- Those that know what they want but don’t have the time to organise it.
- Those that know what they want, could do it themselves but want the added security and service of booking through me.
Whatever category you fall under, I’ll provide you with a better holiday booking experience.
I believe travel should leave a positive mark - on the environment, wildlife, local communities, and the natural world we visit. I’m passionate about responsible travel and love helping my customers discover ways to make their journeys have more of a positive impact.
I work with suppliers and experiences that share these values (see my Animal Welfare Policy) and continuously expand my knowledge in this area. In 2023, I was honoured to be one of only 20 UK travel agents selected as a TTG (Travel Trade Gazette) Sustainable Travel Ambassador. In 2024, I was shortlisted for both the Travel Trade Gazette Sustainable Travel Champion of the Year and the Travel Weekly UK Sustainable Travel Champion of the Year (small business), and in 2025 and 2026 I was again shortlisted for TTG Top50 Responsible Travel Champion award.
In 2026 Nickson Travel was shortlisted for the Top Luxury Responsible Travel Agency 2026 in the TTG Top20 Luxury Travel Agencies Awards, and the Champion of Change at the ATAS (Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers) Awards.
